The School Board extends a cordial invitation to residents and taxpayers to engage in our monthly workshop sessions and action meetings. The next meeting of the board is scheduled for March 26, 2025, at 6 p.m. in the middle school auditorium.

At their regularly scheduled January action meeting, the Elizabethtown Area School District Board of School Directors approved two new policies: Policy 123.3, related to sex-based distinctions in athletics, and Policy 216.1, concerning student records and name/gender identity. These policies were brought forward at the recommendation of the Board of School Directors for discussion and consideration in the fall.

The Elizabethtown Area School District Board of School Directors approved the 2025-2026 school calendar at its regularly-scheduled January 2025 action meeting. The first day of school for students will be August 25, and the last day of school will be May 29.

The Elizabethtown Area School District is excited to announce that kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open! The District strongly encourages early registration.
