Elizabethtown Area School District welcomed its newest educators and professional staff as they began three days of orientation and induction activities in preparation for the 2026-27 school year.
Back-to-School Center Now Available
As we prepare for the 2026-2027 school year, the Elizabethtown Area School District's Back-to-School Center is your one-stop resource for important dates, forms, transportation information, open houses, attendance procedures, athletics, and more. Visit the Back-to-School Center regularly throughout the summer for updates and information to help your family prepare for a successful school year.
Registration Open for Elizabethtown Summer Strings Camp
Register for the Elizabethtown Summer Strings Camp! Students in grades 4–12 of all ability levels are invited to participate in this two-week program, August 17–28, featuring expert instruction, ensemble experiences, and a culminating recital at Bear Creek School.
First Day of School – Monday, August 31
The first day of school for students in the Elizabethtown Area School District will be Monday, August 31. All schools will operate on an early dismissal schedule. Families are encouraged to review back-to-school information and school-specific communications prior to the start of the new school year.
